The Royal Purnama, art suites and villas is an oceanfront boutique retreat, restaurant, spa and wedding garden, resting beside the glittering black sands of Purnama Beach on Bali's southeast coast. Our concept was to create the ultimate in luxurious and elegant accommodation, while carefully preserving the intrinsic culture, ancient traditional and raw natural of the beautiful surrounding. The bliss begins at a hidden sanctuary, bordered by rice fields, sweetcorn and tobacco plantations, bounded by papaya, banana and coconut groves, and blessed with dramatic coastline views extending to the beaches of Sanur and Nusa Dua, and the mountains of East Bali. Upon arrival your senses will be awakened by the purity and timelessness of rural seascape. Entering another world through a time honoured Balinese "gapura" geteway, warm Balinese hospitality is evident in the welcoming smiles of our friendly staff, the fragrance of frangipani flowers, and the perpetual rhythm of the waves.

At The Royal Purnama, classic contemporary architecture updates traditional aesthetic principles with international flair. Sleek modern structures with crisp lines and an abundance of light are unobtrusively integrated, reflecting the ambience of the environment. Distinctive indoor-outdoor design incorporates sumptous features-indigenous stones and timbers, terracotta pots and oversized urns, bas relief wall murals and hand carved Balinese statues. Interiors are effortlessly elegant, with batik fabrics, fine Balinese ceramics and local textiles, richly-hued accents, delicate detailing and handcrafted artistry intermingled with hi-tech functionality and exceptioal comfort.

SUITES & VILLAS
Each of the 35, stylish, one-two-&-four-bedroom villas and suites, has its own private pool or balcony jacuzzi hot tub. Bedrooms beckon with canopied king-size beds, bathrooms present semi-open-air monsoon showers and decadent soaking tubs, while poolside cabanas invite guests to perfect the art of laid-back lounging.

Jepun Jacuzzi & Pool

14 Suites, These spacious, single-storey, ground floor Jepun suites are designed in the studio style with a bedroom & living area, separate kitchenette/dining area, and a breezy bathroom with 'his and hers' washbasins, bathtub and rainshower. Guests only have to step outside to find a relaxing daybed beside a swimming pool resting within its own private courtyard garden.

2 Bedroom Suite
Jepun Jacuzzi & Pool

14 Suites, Each of these two-storey Jepun suites has two private entrance doors. Each level is designed in the studio style with a bedroom & living area, separate kitchenette/dining area, and a breezy bathroom with 'his and hers' washbasins, granite bathtub and rainshower. A relaxing daybed and swimming pool is situated on ground level, while an indulgent heated jacuzzi and daybed rests on the upper floor balcony. With lockable, internal, interconnecting doors the two-bedroom Jepun suites are designed to be split into two, and can be reserved as two separate one-bedroom Jepun suites.

Cempaka

16 Villas, Situated alongside Bali’s cool hills, valleys and terraced plantations, these charming, single-storey Cempaka villas are studio-styled. Each presents a romantic bedroom & living area, a separate kitchenette/dining area, a semi-open-air bathroom with 'his and hers' washbasins, granite bathtub and rainshower, completed outside with a personal daybed and infinity-edged swimming pool surrounded by a wall for privacy.

2 Bedroom Villa
Melati

4 Villas, All single-storey, two bedrooms. At each of these Melati villas, a romantic master bedroom beckons together with a semi-alfresco bathroom fitted with 'his and hers' washbasins, granite bathtub and rainshower. The second bedroom features twin singles and a semi-open-air bathroom with twin washbasins, bathtub and rainshower. There is a separate lounge, a dining area, living area, and fully-equipped kitchen. The picture of luxury is completed with a private swimming pool and personal daybed. 80 m2 per villa, 236 m2 total.

4 Bedroom Villa
Anggrek

1 Villa, This luxurious two-storey Anngrek residence sits in its own private walled garden complete with a large swimming pool. Perfect for groups of friends or families with children over 16, the villa offers four bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom is positioned upstairs, while two twin bedrooms and one double bedroom can be found on the ground floor, along with a separate lounge, dining area, living area, and fully-equipped kitchen.

'Standing Stones' offers semi-alfresco gourmet dining, magnificent sea views, and an ever-changing menu of fine Balinese, Asian and Continental cuisine including fresh seafood purchased directly from the village fishermen. Delicious island produce celebrates the bountiful harvest of the surrounding plantations and the resort's own vegetable and herb garden.
