Nusa Lembongan Island inhabitants are a unique inter-related and amazing society of people. Life is Physically hard with families working the sea weeds farm and the land as well as holding down jobs in hotel and other business. Many westerners have adopted a local family and assisted in their development. Traditionally a lumbung is for rice storage between harvests, and as such is ideally ventilated. A pleasant night sleep is assured on pure cotton bedding and sheeting with no rowdy air conditioners. Toilet are attached to each hut.

The beachside restaurant abuts the beach directly and is possibly the best located restaurant in the bay. Prices are very  fair value for the quality. The fine food and fresh juices and limited selection of beverages can be enhanced by bringing own selection of wine and spirits a nominal corkage charge.

Sunbathing is a respite from the many activities that Nusa Lembongan island is well known. The area has beautiful coral reefs which can be viewed on snorkeling and diving tours. Surfing the shipwreck reef or swimming, fishing, boating, parasailing and other water activities are close at hand.
