Lihat Sawah is located in Sidemen in the heart of rural Bali. Here you can really experience the quiet village life of the real Bali. Our guest house is set in a beautiful tropical garden which looks out across rice terraces to spectacular views of mount Agung. It is pleasantly cooler here than in other parts of Bali.

Our budget bungalows have self contained bathrooms and verandas. Our deluxe bungalows have garden bathrooms, family rooms, and verandas on two floors. We also offer three private villas with full service on the rice terraces outside the village. A perfect for honeymooners.
Our restaurant serves Indonesian, Thai and European foods. A delicious complementary breakfast is also available. Sidemen is in east central Bali, an hour and half from the airport and an hour from Denpasar, Ubud, Sanur, and Candidasa.

Lihat Sawah is a family owned guest house with friendly staff. We want your stay here to be the most memorable on Bali. We offer transportation anywhere around Bali and can also arrange car or motorbike rentals. Some of the attractions in this area include guided trekking up mount Agung and walking around the rice fields. There is also river rafting nearby. Sidemen is famous throughout Bali for its Ikat and Songket weaving. We offer workshops on request. We can also arrange Balinese cooking classes and, of course, offer traditional Balinese massage.
Sidemen:
Sidemen is about 10 km north of the village of Paksebali - Ksatria, after the town of Klungkung (Semarapura). From Klungkung take the Padang Bay/Amlapura highway and cross the big bridge over the river.
At Paksebali – Ksatria, one kilometer from the center of Klungkung there are shop selling offerings and temple umbrellas.
Where the road bends sharply to the right take a cross-road turn left here. You will now be leading north, towards the mountains. When you reach the village of Sidemen you will see the Pelangi weaving shop on your left. About 150 metres after this, you will find a turning to the left. This turning is just before the Sidemen market ( pasar ) and police station ( kantor polisi ). Take this turning , you are now about 1 km from Lihat Sawah. When the road forks, take the right fork. Lihat Sawah is about 20 metres from the fork ( the first buildings you see after the fork )
