Sawah Indah Villa is located in The Sidemen Valley where you will find some amazing rice field views. It’s a traditional Balinese village that we call - The Real Bali. It is pleasantly cooler here than other parts of Bali. Our villa is located right in the middle of the ricefields and from our rooms you will be able to see one of the best views of the rice terraces around the area and a great view of Mount Agung. There is a wonderful view of the ocean especially at night with the colorful lights of Sanur in a far distance. A perfect place to be if you want to find some peace or if you want to be away from the hustle bustle of Kuta or Ubud.
Sidemen is located about 10 km north of the village of Paksebali – Satria, right after the big town of Klungkung (Semarapura).
From Klungkung take the Padang Bai or Amlapura high way and cross the big bridge over the Unda River. At Paksebali – Satria, one kilometer from the center of Klungkung there are some shops selling offerings and temple umbrellas. Where the road bends sharply to the right, turn left here. You will now be heading to the north, going towards the mountain. When you arrive at The Village of Sidemen, you will see the Pelangi weaving shop on your left right in the corner where the road bends and goes downhill. About 150 metres after this, you’ll find a turning to the left.
This turn is just before Sidemen Market (Pasar) and Right before Sidemen Police Station (Kantor Polisi). Take this road to the left and you are now about 2km from Sawah Indah. When you see the next junction, go straight ahead and 1 km you’ll arrive Sawah Indah Villa, right on the left side of the road. To go to Sidemen it takes :
1 and a half hour from the Airport or Kuta
1 hour from Sanur
1 hour from Ubud
1 hour from Amed
45 minutes from Padang Bai
