Denpasar, the largest city on the island,
heart of Bali, is the headquarters for the government, the media, the
island principal banks, airline offices, and hospitals. Denpasar is
excellent for shopping activities; there are many shopping centers and
Badung traditional market that will give you cheaper price than the
shopping centers or shops around tourism resort. It is also exciting to
walk and get lost in the back alley of this city where people are
friendly and helpful; there is much you can see in every turn. Bali
museum and Puputan Square with magnificent Jagatnatha temple are only
few of many interesting places in Denpasar and vicinity that worth a
visit.
