Komodo Island is one of the Indonesia National Park and is now established at Komodo National Park which include other four small island; Rinca, Padar, Kerora and Papagaran. The Komodo National Park covers an area of 1817 square kilometers. There are many other small islands around Komodo to be developed as a part of the national park.
It is the original habitat of the biggest lizard in the earth. Komodo National Park offers its visitors the beautiful landscape, quite and calm, bring you close with a touch of Nature. Nestled between eastern Sumbawa and western Flores lie three tiny grass-covered islands Komodo,Padar and Rinca,together form the Komodo National Park a protected wildlife reserve.
This is the home of the giants lizard known as the "Komodo Dragon" it was thought to be a myth until the turn of the century, when fishermen who were forced by a storm to take shelter on Komodo sight the monsters.
The itinerary for one day trip will be as follows : - Pick up at your hotel at 4.30 AM (depend on hotel location) for transfer to the airport Denpasar. - Arrive at Labuan Bajo at 07.35 AM. - Pick up at the airport in Labuan Bajo and then transfer to harbor. - Sailing to Komodo National Park by Speed Boat. - Tracking to see Komodo dragon and other animal there for 1 or 2 hours. - Back to boat and continue to visit the Pink Beach for Snorkeling and relax on the beach - After snorkeling, sail back to Labuan Bajo and transfer to Labuan Baju Airport for flight to Bali at 16.00 PM. - Pick up at Denpasar Airport at 17:40 PM and then transfer to your hotel in Bali
