Tegallalang Rice Terrace Tegalalang countryside is located at 5 km northern part of Ubud Village and own the magnificent view of rice terrace. Barong and Keris Dance The Barong dance is the classic story of good (The Barong) triumphing over evil ( The evil witch Rangda). The Barong is a large lion type creature played by two men, Rangda is the epitome of evil with long fingernails and droopy breasts. The Barong is going about his business until he is interrupted by Rangda. Ultimately a battle ensues and the Barong’s followers begin attacking Rangda with their Keris (daggers). Rangda, being a witch, is able to use magical powers to turn the daggers against their owners, who fall into a trance and try to stab themselves. In Balinese dance the movement is closely associated with the rhythms produced by the gamelan, a musical ensemble specific to Java and Bali. Multiple levels of articulations in the face, eyes, hands, arms, hips, and feet are coordinated to reflect layers of percussive sounds. Tegenungan Waterfall Located at sacred river of Petanu River, Tegenungan Village south part of Kemenuh Village. It's about 20 minutes drive after to visit Puseh Batuan Temple. This is one of waterfall in Bali that are fun to visit. There are many steps go down to the river if you would like to see te watefall closer. Waterfalls are sharp drops along the course of a river, actually it's a very nice place to stay because green and nature plantation surrounding.
Taman Ayun Temple Taman Ayun Temple is a big temple located in Mengwi District and Badung regency. It is one of the heritance from the empire of Mengwi with beautiful temple building and the big fishpond surrounds it. This Temple owns the building boosting high and joins with others with beautiful decoration and it is designed by Balinese architecture.
